Fatherson senior secondary school is a residential accadmic institution which is established in 1909 Mrs Abha and Mr Kumud raaj singh a great reformist of his age who feel the need of the modern education for the peoples of chandpur city and as well as the adjoining areas , started a school in 1909 which later became a senior secondary institution under the tittle
of ‘ FATHERSON SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL




This is a  premier college comes under the central board of secondary education delhi (CBSE ).Institution having several faculties and having a maintained Institution It drains students from all over uttar Pradesh and all over India also.


Chandpur city is situated at a distance of 130 km from new delhi and south east from new delhi and ghaziabaad railways and grand trunk road.

The latitude is 27 degree 56 minute north and longitude is 75 degree 16 minute east The climate is hot in summer [ mid feb-mid june] and cool and dry in winter [ mid oct –mid feb] with an intervening rainy season.

The institution campus is 6 km away from chandpur railways station and chandpur bus stop but just 1 km from siau bus stop.

SMART CLASSES: Our school has adopted a ew age technology i.e; Smart Classes which will improve effectiveness and productivity in class by making learning an enjoyable experience for students. 





LIBRARY: The School Library is well stocked on various subjects including a special reference section. Fresh titles are added to, on a regular basis. The library subscribes to a wide range of poplar magazines, journals and dailies. Students are advised to make the best use of the library & develp a hobit of reading.

They should record the books read in the
‘BOOKS I HAVE READ’ column in the chronical.

LABS: The school has a laboratory block consisting of Physics, Chemistry, biology, Drawing, Fine Arts & Home Science. Each lab is fully equipped and updated. During practical in Chemistry, Biology & Home Science, it is compulsory to wear white aprons and follow safety rules.

COMPUTER CENTRE: The school has two Computer Labs wit latest PCs under Local Area Network. The school expects every student to be computer literate and take interest in the operations and application of computers.

CANTEEN: The school canteen serves light snacks and other eatables. Care is being taken to maintain the qulity of the food stuff and the hygienic aspects. Student may avail of this facility during recess only. However, the ya re advise to being home food. They should throw the wrappers, cans, disposable bags, etc. into the litterbins so as to keep the canteenarea clean.

CLINIC (SICK ROOM) : The School attends to the students for any minor injury/ sickness. Parents are requested to let the school know about the health problems of their wards for a more effective follow- up. The school cannot be held responsible for major injury suffered by a child in school. No reimbursement of charges would be made to towards any medical treatment.





AFFILIATION: The school prepares the students for Secondary and Senior Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi .




EXAMINATION TESTING AND EVALUATION: Greater emphasis is laid on periodical testing and evaluation in the form of Cyclist test, Half Yearly and Annual Exams. Due weight age is given to the accumulated credits of these periodical tests and examinations. In other words continued comprehensive assessment is the policy of our school.

TRANSPORT FACILITES AND RULES



1. The school helps in making transport arrangement for the children explicitly on request form parents

2. Students availing the transport arrangement are required to obtain a Route Pass User Identity Card form the School Office on payment of stipulated bus fees.

3. Unauthorized traveling in such vehicle is viewed as a serious offence and can lead to a fine of Rs. 500/-.

4. Parents are expected to co-operate with the school by ensuring that their children traveling in the bus should report at the embarking points well on time, carry their Identity Card with them all the time and behave in a disciplined way in the interest of their own safety as well as of the other users.

5. Intentional vandalism such as breaking window panes, tearing and cutting of seat covers, defacing the interior of the bus and other related offence will result in heavy damage, penalty and expulsion from the facility.

6. Parents are required to study the specified routes and opt for those, which suit them best. Please, remember that it is not possible to cater to individual requirements at the cost of time and distance. In case you have a genuine grievance, please submit it in writing to the Principal. Once you have availed the transport facility, you are requested to continue the same for the whole year.

The guardian will have to taken an undertaking that the school will not be held responsible
for any king of accident that may bring harm to the student.

RULSE FOR USE OF VEHICLES


• If your ward is below 16 years fo age, he/she is not allowed to dreive any vehicle.

• Only on reaching 16 year of age, he/she may drive a vehicles but without gears. In this case, the student MUST possess a valid driving license and wear crash helmet as a safely measure.


ADMISSION
• The new academic session begins from the 1st week of April every year. Name of the students seeking admission to the school are registered after completion of prescribed registration cum - admission form on or before its due date.

Admission to Nursery class is made on the basis of interview of the parents and the observation to the child. There is no formal test for tem.

However, admission to other classes is made strictly on the basis of a written test followed by interview (subject to then availability of the seat in that particular class.)

• Those seeking admission to nursery class should be 3 years on 1st April of the year of admission. Date of birth certificate along with 2 passport size photographs of the child is required.

In case of SC/ST/OBC Category a certificate duly issued by the competent authority is to be attached with the registration form. Note: Prospectus together with the Registration cum-admission form is available every year
in the months of March at the school counter on payment of Rs.100/- REGISTRATION DOES
NOT IMPLY ADMISSION.

PROCEDURE FOR FEE PAYMENT


• Fee at the time of admission is payable only in cash at the school accounts office.

• Fee, thereafter is payable by cash at the school fee counter.

• The name of your ward, class and registration number should be written at the back of
the fee slip.

• Fee is charge monthly for each student.

• Last date of payment is the 12th of every month.


• Late fee shall be imposed thereafter @ Rs. 25 per month.

• Failure to pay the fee by the last date could cause the name of the student to be struck off
the rolls.

GENERAL RULES AND REGULAYIONS
SCHOOL DISCIPLINE

1. We have in discipline bad in firmness. Slackness, disobedience and disregard of rules are not tolerated. The school reserves the right to expel the student whose progress in studies is inconsistently unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students.

2. Irregular attendance, unjustified or unexplained absence from school, habitual late coming, leaving the school premises without permission, disobedience, any type of unruly and objectionable behavior is considered to be a grave act of indiscipline on the part of a student which may lead to his / her rustication from the school.

4. If a student needs to be with drawn from the school, the parent / guardian of that
student must submit a notice in writing, a month in advance, failing which all schoo charges for a month in lieu of the notice period will be charged.


5.SCHOLARSHIP IN CLASS XI & XII


1. Students who have secured 85% marks and above in class x from any Board will get full concession in Tuition fee Class XI.

3. Those who have secured between 80% to 84% marks will be entitled for 50% concession in Tuition fee in Class XI


3. If the students are not able to secure the minimum percentage of marks in class XI required for scholarship to continue in Class XII then the scholarship will be stopped.
